(ii) The Hon. Tilak Marapana, Minister of Development Assignments and Minister of Foreign Affairs, replied the question raised on 06.09.2017 by the Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena on “Government stand on statement made by the Hon. Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka regarding War Crimes Prosecution against General Jagath Jayasuriya”.

(iii) The Hon. Rishad Bathiudeen, Minister of Industry and Commerce, replied the question raised on 06.09.2017 by the Hon. Douglas Devananda on “Controlled Price for Rice”.

Public Business of the House

Second Reading of the “Sri Lanka Sustainable Development Bill” – Adjourned debate on question. (8th March 2017) appearing as item No. *1 of today’s Order Paper, was read and was duly passed with amendments by the Parliament.

Motion at the Adjournment Time of the House

A Motion at the Adjournment Time on “Urging the Government of Sri Lanka to intervene to solve the Rohingiya issue urgently”, was proposed by the Hon. M.H.M. Salman, M.P.

The Parliament was, adjourned at 1857 Hrs. until 1030 Hrs. on Friday, the 22nd of September, 2017.
